Carb-phobia is the latest and one of the fastest growing psychological diseases among the fitness community. Carbs are the first thing most people drop, and even sometimes completely cut out, when they embark on the journey of obtaining Instagram model status. Even people trying to build muscle cut them extremely low! But just like cutting fats back in the 90’s, many people are sabotaging their full potential and creating a negative relationship with food. Carbohydrates are extremely important for fast, high-energy demanding exercises, and for building/maintaining muscle mass, all of which are crucial for achieving that strong, lean and athletic physique.
